Memorial Day Weekend

This is a little late but for Memorial Day Weekend we were able to visit Jake's family. Jake's Brother Josh and his wife Leisa had their 3rd child, Joshua Crew Waldron. Here are some pictures of our fun little getaway.

$10 at the local swap meet market

We have recently started going to a local swap meet/market that is about 5 minutes from our apartment in Roseville. They are open during the weekend and you can get in for free on Friday and $3 for a car on Saturday. We are getting together with the Waldron family in San Ramon this weekend and wanted to have fresh salsa and fruit. Here is what we got for $10 at the market.

April Update

Thanks to Grandma Waldron, Morgan had a cute Easter dress this year

One day I told Jake it would be nice to have someone come clean our place on a weekly basis, he told me to wait a few years and Morgan can be our little helper. Well here she is, helper in training.

Morgan's Top 10 Favorite Things

10. Dogs. Morgan loves dogs, she gets so excited when she sees a dog that she even starts to tremble.


9. The mirror. Morgans room has mirror closet doors. She loves to look at herself in the mirror, she can be entertained by this for quite a while, she is her own best friend.

8. Baths. Now when she hears the water of the bathtub she starts to crawl right to the bathroom.


7. Comcast commercial. I don't now why but Morgan loves the Comcast commercial, probably because its part cartoon and has music. When the commercial comes on she will stop everything she is doing and just stare at the T.V. Its quite funny to watch.

6. Teddy. For Christmas Kim and Aaron, my brother and his wife gave Morgan this little bear. She loves it and sleeps with it every night.
5. Grocery Shopping. Morgan loves to people watch and grocery shopping is the best place to do this. Morgan can sit in the little shopping cart seat and look all around.

4. Kids. Morgan loves other little kids, especially this little guy Noah.
3. Paper. Morgan loves to rip paper and then she loves to eat it after she has ripped it to shreds. Of coarse we don't let her do this but if we are not watching she will tear up any magazine or book left on the floor.

2. Books. Morgan loves books, here favorite book is Jiggle Wiggle Prance.

1. Dad. Morgan loves being with Jacob, she cries when he leaves and gets so excited when he comes home.

Time for an Update

It has been quite some time since we last posted. These past couple of months have flown by. For Christmas we spent time with Jake's family in Huntington Beach. Then in January Jake had a 3 week business trip to Florida. So I packed my bags and Morgan and went to Washington. I studied like mad while my awesome mother in law watched Morgan for me so I could study and take my Registered Dietitian Exam. So now I am officially a Registered Dietitian. Then last week we took a quick four day trip to Utah to do a little snowboarding which was so fun. Now we are back to reality and at home for a while. Here are some pictures of Morgan. She seems to be growing up so fast.

The Long Awaited Bookcase Is Finished

After a couple of months, Jacob has finally finished building a bookcase. Our old apartment at Wymount had tons of shelf space to put all of our text books on. Our current apartment does not have any shelves so we needed something for all of our books. Here is what Jacob came up with.

They have not been populated with all of our books yet but they should be filled up in the next couple of days. Hope all of our friends and family had a merry Christmas and a happy new year. We will post pictures from our Christmas vacation shortly.
