Andrea started to have more noticeable contractions on Tuesday June 10th. They intensified as we went into the night so Andrea did not get any sleep that night. She came and woke me up at 4:45 am and we headed to Orem community hospital arriving around 5 am. They monitored the babies heart rate and the contractions for about an hour and a half. The contractions started to slow down and she was not dilating but they decided to induce her since she was already overdue. At 8 am she was admitted by the hospital and we arrived at her room

She was given an epidural at 8:45am
Her water was broke at 9:00am
They started her on Oxytocin at 9:08am and the contractions started to increase in intensity and in frequency.
They had her start pushing at 12:45 pm and (unamed) our little girl came at 1:17 pm on June 11th.
I think that she looks like her mom. Her is a photo of one of Andreas baby pictures and a picture of our little girl.

She does look like her mom! We are excited to hear what you will name her.
Kadie says to name her "sparkles" so that when you dress her in clothes that glitter she will match her name.
Holy crap! You have a child! Congratulations! I am using lots of exclamation marks because I am so excited for you! When do you take her home? What is she like so far? Do you feel like parents yet?
PS- I think you should name her Kiva. Then when Dave wants to name a girl we might one day have Kiva will be off the list because you guys stole it. Or Sparkles, that's good too.
Congrats!!! We can't wait to meet her!
